Our Services

Our Story

Castle Care is a family owned and operated support service company that provides support to individuals in their home to help them live their best lives.

It was started by Melissa Castle in Melbourne Victoria as a side job to support her growing family. Melissa and her husband, Owen understand the heart and need for in-home support (having 4 children and 2 with special needs).

The Castle Family

The Castle Family

This has meant that Melissa’s business philosophy of caring for individual needs, rather than a ‘cookie cutter’ service, has seen our clients as an extension of our Castle family. Initially named Spectrum Support Services, Melissa changed their name to Castle Care in 2024 to allow for growth and ongoing vision. At Castle Care, we care and service your needs in a personalised way so that you get help and support where you need it most. We work towards the goals and plans that will change your life for the better.

‘One raindrop raises the ocean’ and every home we serve creates a better community and a better world. When you have support to be your best, you give your best. We take care of you so you can focus on your life and the lives of those around you…. and lets be honest we all need a break at times from cleaning our home, providing support to our family and mowing our lawns!

2023 has seen further growth, providing support, cleaning and gardening services in the Eastern, South Eastern and Regional areas in Victoria as well as branching out to clean and support in the South East Queensland regions too.

We look forward to journeying and caring for your needs. Get in touch now and join the family.

NDIS  – What does it mean?

  • National: The NDIS is being introduced progressively across all states and territories.
  • Disability: The NDIS provides support to eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability. Early intervention supports can also be provided for eligible people with disability or children with developmental delay.
  • Insurance: The NDIS gives all Australian’s peace of mind if they, their child or loved one is born with or acquires a permanent and significant disability. They will get the support they need.
  • Scheme: The NDIS is not a welfare system. The NDIS is designed to help people get the support they need so their skills and independence improve over time.

NDIS – How does it work?

The NDIS works with suitably experienced and qualified partner organisations to deliver local area coordination and the early childhood approach to Australians with disability, including children with developmental delay. They are the face of the NDIS in the community.

If you are between the ages of 7 and 64 years of age, call the local area coordinator partner in your local government area. They will be your main contact point for the NDIS.

If you have a child younger than 7 years of age with developmental delay or disability, call the early childhood partner in your local government area.

The early childhood partner will be your main contact point for the NDIS and will help you understand and access the most appropriate supports for your child.
